Mr. Ni is currently involved in the investment and financing for over 50
companies in China. Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU), Bona Film (NASDAQ:
BONA),MecoxLane (NASDAQ: MCOX), L-Mobile (acquired by Telstra),
56.com (acquired by Renren.com), Haibao.cn (acquired by CBSi),
Tianya.cn, Moonbasa, Sanfo, iKang Guobin, Goodwill Technology,
55tuan.com and Galloping Horse are among the companies in which
he has made direct investments.
Mr. Ni is a member of the ACFIC (All-China Federation of Industry and
Commerce) Economic Committee, a Torch Entrepreneurial Mentor of the
Ministry of Science and Technology, and a member of CDB (China
Development Bank) Advisory Committee. He is also the Co-founder
and Secretary General of the Limited Partners Association of China
(LPACN). Besides, he serves as the Vice-Chairman of Tsinghua
Entrepreneur and Executive Club (TEEC) and Executive Member of
Asia America Multi-Technology Association (AAMA). As one of the
authorities in China’s private equity market, Mr. Ni is often
invited to speak at VC/PE conferences and forums all over the world.
In 2010, Mr. Ni was awarded as the “Top 10 CEOs in China 2010”
by China Times and CEO Clubs China.
Prior to the establishment of Zero2IPO Group, Mr. Ni started Tsinghua
Business Plan Competition, the first of its kind in Asia, in early
1998; he was also the President of Tsinghua Entrepreneurs Club (TEC)
from 1998 to 1999
Mr. Ni graduated from Hunan University with a Bachelor's Degree of
Engineering, and graduated from Tsinghua University with a Master’s
Degree of Engineering and obtained his doctor's degree in Business
Administration in Tsinghua University School of Economics
and Management.
